Overview

The company provides its team members with the flexibility to schedule their time off, in the form of vacation and sick time, to meet personal and individual needs while understanding the necessities of running a business. Full-time and part-time team members are eligible for time off.

 

ATO

WinnCompanies offers a generous accrued time off package. Each pay period, team members accrue time off that may be used for vacation time or personal time. New team members may begin to accrue time off within the first pay cycle. Please refer to the Employee Handbook for more detailed information on WinnCompanies’ ATO program.

 

Sick Time

All eligible full-time team members will receive 48 hours of sick time per year. Sick time is front-loaded on January 1 annually. Sick time may be prorated depending on date of hire.

Part-time team members’ sick time banks are front-loaded based on state requirements. In California, part-time team members will receive 24 hours annually, and in all other states, part-time team members will receive 40 hours annually.

Sick time is “use it or lose it” — unused balances are forfeited on December 31 annually.

Part time team partners will receive the daily average hours worked for their regular weekly schedule as holiday pay.

 

Day of Service

Every WinnCompanies team member is provided with eight hours of paid time each year to use for charitable and volunteer activities on behalf of non-profit groups or causes to benefit the communities where they live and work.

Other Time Off/Leaves of Absence

WinnCompanies understands team members may need time off for reasons outside of their control. Team members may be eligible to receive several other types of time off, including jury duty, bereavement, voting time, and leaves of absence (federal, state, and personal).
