Overview

Open Enrollment Is October 28 – November 11, 2019

WinnCompanies is introducing a whole new approach to benefits for 2020 that offers more choice and a flexible shopping experience to ensure you have coverage options that meet your needs and budget.

You must take action between October 28 and November 11 to choose your benefits or waive coverage for next year – even if you are not currently enrolled in Winn benefits. Your current benefit choices will not carry over to 2020.

After Open Enrollment ends, you cannot change your benefit elections until the following Open Enrollment in October of 2020, unless you experience a qualifying life event, such as marriage, divorce, the birth of a child, etc.

What’s New for 2020

This year, you will have a brand new enrollment experience and new benefits to choose from for 2020.

Your Enrollment Experience – We have partnered with Mercer Marketplace 365+ (MM365+) to provide you with guided online benefits shopping and personalized support from English- and Spanish-speaking benefits counselors, available by phone and live online chat.

Your Benefit Options – We continue to be committed to offering great benefit choices at affordable costs. You will still have three Blue Cross Blue Shield medical plans to choose from, along with additional options to support all aspects of your life, like home and auto insurance, identity theft protection, legal insurance, and more. For Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and California employees, we're also introducing lower-cost regional medical plan options to offer more ways to take control of your healthcare spending.

Your Costs – WinnCompanies pays most of the cost of your medical and dental coverage, and that will continue in 2020 as healthcare costs continue to rise. As a result, you'll see only slight cost increases for your medical and dental coverage. You will also see new salary bands to help keep costs affordable for everyone.

Open Enrollment Checklist

Take these steps to get ready to enroll between October 28 and November 11, 2019:

  • Watch the Welcome Video to learn more about what MM365+ has to offer.
  • Review the 2020 Decision Guide to understand your benefit options.
  • Attend an Open Enrollment benefits meeting before or during Open Enrollment. Dates, Times, and Locations
  • Consider your family's coverage needs for 2020 and how our new benefit offerings through MM365+ can help you save money.

  • Enroll in your new 2020 benefits at www.mercermarketplace365plus.com/WinnBenefits starting October 28. If you have questions or need help enrolling, call the MM365+ Benefits Center at 1-855-559-4515 from 7 am to 10 pm ET, Monday through Friday, and 10 am to 2 pm ET on Saturday, to speak with a benefits counselor in English or Spanish.

IMPORTANT: You must enroll in your 2020 benefits or waive coverage through MM365+ between October 28 and November 11 — even if you are not currently enrolled in Winn Benefits. Your current benefits will not carry over to 2020.

icon checkTIP: Think about the whole cost.

When choosing a medical plan, it's important to think about the whole cost of coverage — the amount you'll spend out of your paycheck, as well as out of your pocket (copays, deductibles, and coinsurance). Review the Cost Estimator tool on MM365+ during Open Enrollment to see how much you can expect to pay under each medical plan option in 2020.

How to Enroll

The first time you visit the MM365+ website, click on "Get Started" to register your account. After you register, you’ll select a unique username and password that you'll use whenever you come back to the site. Your username must be an email address.

icon security
For your security

As part of the registration process, you'll be asked to provide your email address or phone number to set up multifactor authentication (MFA). MFA combines your username and password with an additional security factor — a temporary numeric code sent to you — to confirm your identity and keep your information secure.

Once you receive this numeric code, you will enter it on the website to confirm your identity. For your security, each time you log in, you'll be prompted to enter a new temporary code to gain access to your account.

Make Your Elections

To select your benefits, click on the “Get Started” link on the homepage. The MM365+ website at www.mercermarketplace365plus.com/WinnBenefits gives you personalized help with choosing benefits. You have two ways to enroll online, based on how much guidance you want.

You can select:

  • Receive Expert Guidance if you're not sure which plans are best for you and your family in 2020. With this feature, you answer a few quick questions about your healthcare needs and personal preferences, and MM365+ generates a customized benefits package that offers the best match for you.
  • Choose Your Own if you want to take a more traditional approach to enrolling in your benefits one at a time. You'll still have plenty of decision support, including a cost estimator tool to help you see how much you can expect to pay under each medical plan option based on your estimated healthcare expenses.

Remember: After Open Enrollment ends, you cannot change your benefit elections until the next Open Enrollment period in October of 2020, unless you experience a qualifying life event, such as marriage, divorce, the birth of a child, etc.
